Our computer Controlled Heat Treat Furnaces have been custom built to insure that your parts, no matter if Stainless, Alloy, or Carbon Steel, are annealed, normalized or hardened to your exact specifications. With our Polymer or water quenching system, Great Lakes Forge is noted for our accuracy and consistency.
Great Lakes Forge has an extensive Machining department, staffed and equipped to meet your needs. whether your part is a block that needs to be milled and ground or a crankshaft, stepshaft, or hub that needs to be rough machined, we have the personnel and equipment to do the job. When we rough machine your parts and ship them ready to be finished, it will significantly reduce your setup and machining time aswell as the every day wear on your equipment. Rough machined parts cost less to ship. Why pay the shipping cost for extra material that we can rough machine away, at a fair price.
